Elliott Associates delivered the £2.2m residential project, transforming a piece of derelict land which had been an eyesore and focus for anti-social behaviour for many years. The mix of housing was decided based on the established demand for affordable homes in the local community – hence 14 two-bedroom houses, 4 three-bedroom houses and 6 one-bedroom flats.
The scheme was delivered in partnership between Karbon Developments Limited with local contractor Gus Robinson Developments who built the 24 new homes having first identified and designed the potential development on behalf of Karbon Homes.
The project has been shortlisted for the 2019 RICS Regeneration award.
